What is Arena Barefoot?

Arena Barefoot originated as a brand looking to provide value to optimized athletes via products and information. Created by two ahtletes/health-nuts looking to extend their physical prime, we decided to help build ourselves and other like-minded people from the ground up.

 

The Arena Entries are our first product. Physical health for any biped starts at the feet, and we wanted to make a shoe that lets your foot bend, flex, and expand in the ways that hundreds of thousands of years of evolution have designed our feet to move.

 

The Arena Entries do this in 3 ways:

• Wide Foot-Shaped Toe Box - the toe box on 99% of shoes are NOT shaped like your foot! Most shoes have the tallest part of the shoe around the middle of the foot. This is not how feet are shaped! Arena Barefoot shoes are designed so that the tallest part of the shoe is over your big toe. Wear a shoe that's actually shaped like your foot!!!
• A Zero-Drop Design - Our shoes set your heel and the balls of your feet the same height off the ground. This is how your feet have evolved to stand, walk, run on the ground since we started walking on two legs! Changing this goes against our nature and has negative long-term consequences in our bodies!
• Thin Flexible Outsole - Your foot has 33 joints, over 100 tendons muscles and ligaments, and 26 bones! It needs to stretch and flex in all different ways in order to stay healthy and strong. By having a flexible outsole our shoe allows your feet to feel stronger than ever!
